Shri. B. Ramani
Executive Director C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram
Over thirty three years of experience in the design, development and implementation of embedded systems for real-time process control. From 1981 to 1988, worked for Kerala State Electronics Development Centre (KELTRON) as a design engineer. Has been working from 1988 till date in C-DAC (erstwhile ER&DCI) Thiruvananthapuram. Was the principal designer of the software architecture of several products like PC based Distributed Control System, Advanced Plant Automation and Control System (APACS), Transputer based High Performance Industrial Control System (THICS), General Purpose Control System (GPCS), Energy Management System etc. which have been very successfully installed and commissioned in several process control applications, covering a large spectrum of the industry, all over India.
Presently holding the position of Executive Director, C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram and spearheading research and development activities in advanced communication systems, control and instrumentation, power electronics, VLSI systems, Health Informatics, Intelligent Transportation systems and Cyber Forensics. Earlier worked as the Head of the Resource Centre for Cyber Forensics (RCCF) setup by Department of Information Technology, Government of India. This centre has indigenously developed several tools for carrying out computer forensics investigation which are being used by leading Law Enforcement Agencies in India. A suite of products called CyberCheck suite was developed and over 450 licenses have been provided to several Law Enforcement Agencies. RCCF has developed Network Forensics tools, Device Forensics tools and hardware tools. Has in-depth knowledge of embedded system design and development, internals of Operating Systems like MS-DOS, Windows 9x/2000/XP/Vista/7 and Linux, networking, software engineering and software project management.

Dr. Sateesh K Peddoju

Dr. Sateesh K Peddoju has an overall professional experience of nearly 18 years and working currently with Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India. His areas of research include Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing and their Security Issues. He obtained his Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He is contributing to the society through various International/National Technical societies such as ACM, IEEE, IEEE CS, DMTF and CSI. He is acting as Vice-Chair for IEEE Computer Society, India Council and Faculty Sponsor for ACM IITR Students Chapter. IBM has honored him with Shared University Research Award for the year 2013. He is also honored with Best Teacher Award when he was working with a private engineering college. His research contribution is demonstrated by his various publications (over 50) through standard publishers like ACM/IEEE/Springer/Elsevier, some received awards, including peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He has several projects on his account sponsored by RICET and IBM of a total worth around 50 lakhs. He is the editorial board member for several journals and reviewer for popular journals from Springer, Inderscience and IGI Global. He is also editing a book on “Cloud Computing Systems and Applications in Healthcare” to be published by IGI Global. He has wide experience in Conference/Workshop management at the capacity of General Chair/Program Chair/Session Chair/TPC/Keynote Speaker.

Dr. Atul Negi

Dr. Atul Negi, is a professor in the department of computer science, University of Hyderabad. He completed his M.Sc(Engineering) from the Dept. of Computer Sciences and Automation from the Indian Institute of Science under Prof. M. Narasimha Murty. He also worked for about a year on a project under Prof. V.V.S. Sarma called COMRADES. His research interests include Pattern Recognition applications such as Principal component Analysis, Palm Print Recognition, Clustering Algorithms and Optical Character Recognition. Dabbling in Systems Security, E-Learning and Computer Networks. Several students has completed their doctoral degree under his guidance and he is currently advising several others. Served as Director of various engineering institutes with AICTE approval. He is a Chairman of IEEE Hyderabad Section. He also acted as Visiting Scientist for CVPR Group Indian Statistical Institute. He was a guest faculty at IIIT Hyderabad during the period of 1999-2000. He is Principal Investigator for the project sponsored by Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, New Delhi. Title of project is Development of Robust OCR for Indian Scripts. He was also a member of the National Coordination Committee for this project.

He has done his M.Tech from Benaras Hindu University; "Computer Forensics Incident Response Team" from Wright State University, USA. and Post graduate programme (PGP) from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is a Certified BS7799 LEAD ASSESSOR of information security and CISCO certified network associate (CCNA) & DNV Certified Vulnerability Assessor. He is also INTERPOL Certified “Train the Trainer” in the field of Computer Forensics for Asia- South Pacific region. He was awarded with "UNION HOME MINISTER AWARD FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE" in the year 2004 and was the youngest to achieve this award. He co-authored the book titled "COMPUTER CRIMES AND FORENSICS" and is the Chief reviewer of "GUIDELINES FOR STORAGE OF ELECTRONIC RECORDS", Indian Banks Association, Mumbai.
